When can you apply?
Wait to apply until you have received a decision about disability benefit.
Documentation
Your application must be accompanied by NAV’s letter announcing their decision and your degree of disability.
If you receive child supplements for children over the age of 16, you must provide documents from NAV, your insurance company or others that show how much you are receiving.
If you have received arrears, we can disregard these if you document that they apply to a previous year.

Processing time
Once we have looked at your application and checked that we have the necessary documentation, you will receive a preliminary response from us in the post.
We cannot finish processing your application until your tax assessment has been completed for the year of your application.
In the meantime we will not send you any bills.
